How the Knockout Predictor Works

The contest covers every match of the World Cup 2026 knockout stage, starting at the Round of 32. For each match, you predict the team you think will win. Because knockout matches always produce a winner — decided by extra time and, if needed, penalties — every match counts toward your tally.

• Each prediction costs 10 points. You can predict as many matches as you like, as long as you have the points.
• Predictions lock at kick-off. Once a match starts, that prediction can no longer be changed.
• Call it right to score. If your chosen team wins the match, it counts as one correct result toward your tally.

How Results Are Decided
